Inseparable from any enterprise equipmentCoupling, The operation of the coupling plays a very important role, but it is often used in the equipment, it will inevitably cause the machine to be strained. Therefore, we need to carry out maintenance from time to time to ensure the normal operation of the parts.
The tooth surface of the gear coupling is severely worn, and the internal gear ring produces a large amount of axial displacement, and even cannot mesh, and the phenomenon of tooth breakage occurs. The bolts on the coupling are broken. These are the failures of the coupling.
The concentricity error is too large, exceeding the range that the coupling can compensate, making the shaft tooth and the internal tooth meshing incorrectly, causing local contact and additional torque. And this additional moment can be decomposed into axial force. The magnitude of this force depends on the magnitude of the deviation, and is proportional to the deviation. The greater the deviation, the greater the force, which will cause the axial displacement of the inner gear ring of the lifting accessories coupling. If the displacement is too large, it will be uncontrollable, resulting in serious gear wear and even broken teeth. The internal and external teeth cannot be meshed until they cannot be transmitted. It is difficult to deal with this kind of fault, and it needs to stop production. That is to re-align, or re-align the reducer side, or re-align the reel side. For the part with large offset error, first measure the offset of the coupling to that side, that is, measure the level and coaxiality of the main shaft and the level and coaxiality of the reducer main shaft, and re-level it according to the quality standard. Correction can eliminate the fault. At that time, it was measured that the concentricity deviation of the coupling was 2n, and the reducer side was low, which caused the lifting accessory coupling to fail to work, and the axial displacement of the inner gear ring exceeded the tooth width. After correcting and adjustment, the operation is normal and the fault is eliminated.
There are three types of coupling shaft deviations. The first type: radial deviation, that is, the two shafts are parallel but the center line is no longer on the same straight line. The deviation generated at this time is called the radial deviation; the second type is the angular deviation. That is, the deviation caused by the center of the two shafts at an angle to each other; the third type is the axial deviation, that is, the deviation caused by the reciprocating micro movement of the two shafts.
Deviations not only occur in the assembly of the equipment, but vibration, thermal expansion, bearing wear and other factors in the working process can cause deviations. Therefore, it is recommended to adjust the axial deviation to less than 1/3 of the maximum value.
The maximum allowable deviation of various couplings means that when only one deviation exists, when two or more deviations exist at the same time, the allowable value should be less than 1/2 of the maximum deviation in each specification table.
