Several common phenomena of not polished tooth surface
(1) Tearing means that there are deep grooves on the tooth surface, especially where the hob cuts out more.
(2) Tooth gnawing means that there are small dented knife marks on the tooth surface, and its texture is rough.
(3) Vibration marks, that is, tiny vibration ripples on the tooth surface.It is different from the normal entry mark.
(4) Fish scales, that is, small bumps like fish scales appear on the tooth surface.
There are many factors that produce tooth surface roughness, such as tooth blank material surface and heat treatment method, tool wear, cutting amount, machine tool-tool-workpiece process system rigidity and cutting fluid.
