Plum blossom elastic coupling is a kind of non-metallic elastic element coupling. Because the elastic body inside is plum blossom shape, it is called plum blossom coupling.Commonly used types are LM basic type, LMD single flange type, LMS double flange type, LMZ-I split brake wheel type, LMZ-II integral brake wheel type.
The quincunx coupling transmits power through the extrusion between the protruding claw and the elastic ring, and compensates the relative deviation of the two shafts through the elastic deformation of the elastic ring, so as to realize damping and buffering.It is used for connecting two axes, frequent starting, forward and reverse changes, medium speed, medium torque and other transmission shaft systems and working parts that require high working reliability.It is not suitable for low-speed, heavy-duty and limited axial dimensions where it is difficult to align the two shafts after replacing the elastic element.It is processed by machining methods such as turning, milling and broaching, and then is heat treated as a whole to ensure sufficient strength.
