The coupling is selected according to the load condition, calculated torque, shaft end diameter and working speed and other factors.
The calculation of torque is as follows:
TC=KT=K9550 PW/n<Tn
In the formula, Tc—calculated torque (N·m)
T—Theoretical torque (N·m)
Tn—nominal torque (N·m)
Pw—driving power (KW)
n—Working speed (r/min)
K—Working condition factor
For GICL type, GIICLZ type, GIICL type, GIICLZ type couplings, the influence of changes in speed and angular compensation on the transmission torque is Tc≤K1Tn
In the formula Kn-speed coefficient
n—Working speed
When calculating the shaft of the gear coupling, the additional bending moment on the shaft caused by friction during meshing should be taken into consideration.This bending moment is approximately equal to 0.1Tmax and acts on the plane passing through the axis. Tmax is the long-term maximum torque acting on the coupling (N·m)
