Commonly used couplings are: elastic couplings, diaphragm couplings, slider couplings, plum blossom couplings, rigid couplings.
Its characteristics are as follows:
1. Flexible coupling
(1) One-piece metal elastomer;
(2) Zero backlash, can run synchronously;
(3) Elastic action compensates radial, angular and axial deviations;
(4) High torque rigidity and excellent sensitivity;
(5) The characteristics of clockwise and counterclockwise rotation are exactly the same;
(6) Maintenance-free, oil and corrosion resistance;
(7) There are two main fixing methods: top wire and clamping.
2. Diaphragm coupling
(1) High rigidity, high torque, low inertia;
(2) Deformation of circular or square elastic stainless steel sheet;
(3) High torque load, high torque rigidity and excellent sensitivity;
(4) Zero backlash, clockwise and counterclockwise rotation characteristics are the same;
(5) Maintenance-free, super oil and corrosion resistance;
(6) Double stainless steel diaphragms can compensate radial, angular and axial deviations, but a single diaphragm cannot compensate for radial deviations.
3. Slider coupling
(1) Connection without backlash, simple transmission structure for small torque measurement;
(2) Convenient use, easy installation, time saving, wide size range, small moment of inertia, easy for visual inspection;
(3) It is resistant to oil corrosion, can be electrically insulated, and can be selected from different materials of slider elastomers;
(4) The sliding between the shaft sleeve and the middle piece can allow large radial and angular deviations. The special convex point design of the middle piece produces a supporting effect, allowing large angular deviations, no bending moment, and axial load. Minimize.
4. Plum blossom coupling
(1)Compact, no backlash, providing three different hardness elastomers;
(2) Vibration can be absorbed, and radial and angular deviation can be compensated;
(3) Simple structure, convenient maintenance and inspection;
(4) Maintenance-free, oil-resistant and electrical insulation, working temperature 20℃-60℃;
(5) Plum blossom elastomer has four petals, six petals, eight petals and ten petals;
(6) The fixing methods include top wire, clamping and keyway fixing.
5. Rigid coupling
(1) Light weight, ultra-low inertia and high sensitivity;
(2) Maintenance-free, super oil and corrosion resistance;
(3) Eccentricity cannot be tolerated, and the shaft should be exposed as much as possible during use;
(4) Fixing methods include clamping and top wire fixing.
