Oldham couplingIt is a common structural form among movable rigid couplings. It is composed of two grooved couplings and an intermediate disc. There is a rectangular bump on both sides of the middle disk, and the center lines of the bumps on both sides are perpendicular to each other and pass through the center of the disk. The end faces of the two couplings have rectangular grooves corresponding to the middle disk, and the bumps of the middle disk are embedded at the same time In the grooves of the two couplings, the two shafts are connected as a whole. When the driving shaft rotates, the middle disk drives the other coupling disk to rotate, and the convex block can slide in the groove to adapt to a certain radial offset and a small amount of axial movement between the two shafts.
Assembly requirements:
1. When assembling, a small amount of radial deviation and tilt of the two shafts is allowed. Under normal circumstances, the axial swing can be between 1-2.5mm, and the radial swing can be about (0.01d+0.25)mm ( d is the shaft diameter).
2. After the middle disc is assembled, it should be able to slide freely between the two coupling discs.
Assembly method:
Assemble the key 1 and the key 7 on the shaft 3 and the shaft 6, install the coupling discs 2 and 5, use a ruler to align, install the intermediate disc 4 and move the linkage shaft, leaving a small amount of clearance between the coupling disc and the intermediate disc Z, to meet the free sliding requirements of the middle plate.
